Examination Structure of The NCTMA

The National Commission of Traditional Martial Arts provides computer test examination in each category for testing all applicants.   Please contact NCTMA for more detailed information regarding the examination structure.
(Note: The examination is currently offered in English only.)

First:  Download and Install 

Download and Install NCTMA's Computer Program.  You will see the download link on home page and follow the instructions.

Click, "Program Download Button" to begin the download and installation onto your computer automatically or manually.  Note: This is a "Java Web Start Program" Installation.

After the download and installation is completed, you will see a button to launch or come back to the home page, next press the Launch Button (Program Download & Launch Button) to activate the program.  This time, the NCTMA Program will update NCTMA Computer Program into your computer.

Upon completion of this update, you will see a login window.  Press "apply" button to complete your registration.

Second:  Registration

You must first register and secure a login ID with your personal information through  NCTMA's Online Computer Program.  This is a free program with many helpful and convenient features.  The registration process is required only once but updates may be needed in the future if your personal information changes.  Once you have become a registered user of NCTMA.com, and selected your own username and password for access purposes, you will receive a confirmation and notification by e-mail. 

Third:  Choose the Course

From our web site, you will see NCTMA Course Study Information.  Also, if you logged in through the NCTMA online computer program, you will see the NCTMA computer program's main lobby.  Also you will see the NCTMA Course Study Information at NCTMA's  Main lobby.  Make your course choice and pay ($20.00 per credit hour) at NCTMA's Online Computer Program. 

After completing the payment process, you will have access to the course study materials. 

Now, begin Course Instruction...

 

Course Complete by Examination...(Examination required)

Course Completion by Examination for ACTMA.  While attending the online course, you will be given a choice of reading, listening to audio and video lectures, or taking an examination.  If the participant chooses the examination feature, the course can be completed early by successfully answering the examination questions. This examination will allow you only 20 minutes to completed  with 20 multiple questions per one credit.  

DETAIL INFORMATION OF COURSE LESSONS

 Starting and ending times: Any Time On line.    Broken down into 1 hour increments for each subject.

 Certification by Examination

Whenever study is completed.  Click “Start quiz” and start your test.  Twenty five questions are displayed and time begins.  When the test has been completed, click done button to see test results.  If you passed the test, You do not need to stay required time.

If you failed the test, you can retest until you passed the test without any extra cost.

1. 50 ~ 100 multiple choice questions.

 

Scoring the examination: The passing score is 70% or above on both the written and practical examinations. If the applicant does not pass all parts of the exam, he or she will be required to retest one or more designated sections. Test results will be given by mail within two months
