Code Of Ethics

All schools who are seeking recognition from the National Commission of Traditional Martial Arts must agree to live by its code of ethics. Any individual seeking accreditation by the National Commission of Traditional Martial Arts must serve as an example of this code in their daily life. The study of martial arts is an endless journey and an important element of life. Many benefits are derived from martial arts. Each student's goal is to continue to improve the quality of their life. The goal of each school is to improve the quality of their members' lives and share the benefits of the martial arts equally throughout society. Students, Instructors and Masters must always treat each other with a sincere and serious attitude. Achieving and maintaining balance in our lives includes the ethical treatment of all people. It is one of the most important ways to improve human behavior everywhere. Therefore, to receive NCTMA Certification each member must promise to exemplify the following credos:

"As I am certified under the National Commission of Traditional Martial Arts, I promise

to follow the underlying guidelines to the best of my ability:

1. I must have good moral standards.

2. I must have a sincere and serious attitude.

3. I will have no prejudice against any persons.

4. I will make no false or misleading claims or advertisements.

5. I will always dedicate myself to my job and seek to improve my own skills and knowledge.

6. I will return all martial arts knowledge to the public.

7. I will always maintain good overall professional standards."
